We are seeking an experienced Quality Director to drive quality and process improvements on the production floor (approx. 150 employees on 2 shifts). Change agent with strong analytical, reporting and root cause focus. Knowledge and experience with root cause analysis techniques and SPC. Hands-on experience with DPMO data analysis in a quality system. Significant time will be spent with customers on quality/process/design improvements.
This individual will also work to obtain military AS9100 and medical ISO13485 certifications for the company. The successful candidate will have managed acquisition of ISO certification recently in their career.
Position requires a comprehensive electronics background – minimum of 5-10 years management experience (CM or OEM). Exceptional computer skills, persistent, well-organized, analytical, motivated decision-maker and change agent, with strong communication and follow-up skills. Will plan and execute an improved quality system, achieve and maintain certifications, conduct training and write the process documentation updates to our existing system.
Strong commitment to getting the job done and strong work ethic absolutely required. Hands-on position with significant time spent providing leadership on the production floor. Must have detailed knowledge of IPC-610 and IPC J-Standard (Class 2 vs. Class 3) in a production environment, with the ability to make final go-no go decisions for the company.
Candidate must have completed a 4-year degree, BA or BS mandatory - Engineering background preferred. Six-Sigma and/or Lean experience highly desirable as well.

Test Operator (2nd shift)

TeligentEMS seeks temporary Test Operators 2nd shift 4:00 pm - 12:30 am. Reponsible for the setup and calibration of electronic test equipment. Conducts repetitive testing and limited troubleshooting of PCBA’s using electronic test equipment. Ability to operate ICT, Flying Probe or Functional Tests per test specifications and following MPI’s (Manufacturing Process Instructions). Ability to assist in identifying basic production problems with the board, such as soldering defects or incorrect/mispositioned parts. Understanding of safety, component parts, polarity, quality, soldering requirements, material handling & ESD requirements. Able to complete test setup and execution; able to document results of test process and explain results to test technicians (with training).
